• Any faculty member may apply for an honorarium in up to $300 (plus up to $50 in travel) for a speaker for an Avery Point undergraduate class.

• The decisions about which honorariums to fund will be made by a rotating faculty committee. Currently the committee consists of Steven Park, Pamela Bedore, Matthew McKenzie, and Nat Trumbull.

• Deadlines for the 15-16 academic year are September 23rd (fall funding) and January 30th (spring funding).

• Those who are allergic to paperwork should be aware that speakers’ stipends are addressed like vendor payments, which are initially onerous.
